General Awards

Each routine will be judged by a panel of 3 judges at regional events. Dancers are judged on an adjudicated point system. All routines will compete against each other for Overall High Point Awards.


Adjudicated Awards

Studios will have the option to receive their adjudicated score and pick up their awards immediately following the completion of their routine. A studio may designate any representative to pick up the awards, or have the dancers pick them up. Studios may also waive the immediate results and awards and pick them up at the conclusion of the awards assembly if they wish for the dancers to wait until they have completed all of their routines. The decision is up to the studio as to how they would like to proceed.

The adjudicated point system for each level is as follows:


Novice

Platinum: 282-293.9

High Gold: 270-281.9

Gold: 250-269.9


Intermediate

Platinum: 282-293.9

High Gold: 270-281.9

Gold: 250-269.9


Elite

Ultimate Platinum: 294-300

Platinum: 282-293.9

High Gold: 270-281.9

Gold: 250-269.9


Category Winners

Will be presented to the highest scoring acts in each age group/category where there are 3 or more acts. 


Overall High Point Awards

Highest scoring routines will be acknowledged within each age group/size division. All acts must perform on the same day and before their awards ceremony to be eligible for Overall High Point Awards. In the event of a tie, the Technique score will determine the higher overall placement within the Overall lineup.

A soloist may only place once in the overall lineup with their higher/highest scoring solo. 


Top Scoring Routines

The highest scoring group routines in each age group will be recognized as the Top Scoring Routines.


Judge’s Awards

During each awards ceremony,  Special Judge’s Awards will be presented to outstanding routines. 


Costume Award

Judging panel will choose one costume from each block of competition that stood out to them. The selection will be made by the judges on overall design, creativity, fit, and workmanship. All routines are entered for the Costume Award without any additional fee. 


Choreography Award

Judging panel will choose one routine from each block of competition that presented outstanding work in the area of choreography.


Ms./Mr. A-List Title

The Title competition is an additional competition open to all soloists in every level. Entries must be entered into Title via the online registration portal. There is a $40 charge for each entry into Title. Soloists may enter one or multiple performances in the Title competition. A separate entry fee will apply for each Title performance. 

Title scores will be determined at the same time as the Solo performance. There will be two separate and unique score sheets; one for the Solo performance and one for the Title performance. Female winners will be presented with a tiara and a trophy. Male winners will be presented with a cap and a trophy. Each Title runner-up will receive a tiara or cap.
